I am grateful to be a part of the Paramount Dental Center team!
I completed my undergraduate degree in biology at Seattle Pacific University and went on to earn my DDS at University of Washington School of Dentistry. I graduated at the top of my class while receiving extra training in endodontics, periodontics, oral surgery and oral pathology. Though my formal training is done, I continually learn new things in dentistry through continuing education, staying connected with colleagues through study clubs, and maintaining membership in the American Dental Association®, Washington State Dental Association and Seattle-King County Dental Society.
I am committed to volunteering on a local and global level. Currently, I am involved in the admission process at the University of Washington dental school. I have also done dental mission work in Costa Rica, Panama and Jamaica and hope to return abroad when my kids are a little older.
Why I Love Dentistry
As I explored the field of dentistry as a possible career path in undergrad, I found dentistry is a perfect marriage of my interests: science, artistry and relationship. I love working with my hands to create something beautiful that simultaneously improves my patient’s overall health. It is challenging but deeply rewarding. Needless to say, I am glad to have chosen dentistry as a career.
Family and Fun
I grew up in Winthrop, Washington, but moved to Seattle to go to college and have been in the area ever since. Now, I am proud to be a Kirkland resident and live here with my husband, Tripp, my two young sons, Liam and Teddy, and my dog, Molly. As a family, we all take walks as frequently as possible and love to snack on the food we grow in our garden. When I have a rare moment alone, I enjoy playing the piano or reading a book without pictures.
